At the height of the portals of the west facade. South of the facade, detail of upper lintel of the portal Sainte-Anne, whose sculptures (executed 1160) are the oldest of Notre Dame. It evokes scenes from the life of the Virgin : Nativity, with Mary resting on a bed carved, while Joseph eve, head resting on hand. In heaven, three angels in adoration. Altitude 10 meters.
