- At kilometric point 30, this mass of containers welcomes since june 2002 one of the 'village' for Donghai bridge workers. Even their living conditions seem quiet hard, they are rather better than 'mingong' ones, coming from Jiangsu (100 km north Shanghai), Anhui (400 km west) and Henan (700 km west) provinces, living inside steel girder -initially made for cables and pipes- 12 meters above Eastern China Sea for three years. There were around 6000 to take part on worksite. On background, the new Yangshan northern village, for deep water harbour administration and shipping companies offices.
