This stele enumerates the victories of one of the most famous athletes in the history of the ancient games:  Theagenes, son of Timostenes, a priest from the temple of the god Herakles in Tasos.  As a pancratist and pugilist, he won his first victory at the Olympic Games in 480 B.C and many others at the Delphi Games.  Nemee and Ismea and Olympia.  Archeological Museum of Delphi.
