The Moïka Canal and the Church of our Savior on Spilled Blood.  With its 
colorful mosaics and sculpted stone, this church, built in 1883 by Alfred 
Parland and Ignace Malichev, returns to traditional 17th Century Russian 
architecture.  After eight years of restoration, the church is once again in 
the state it was at  the beginning of the century.
