All winter long, the frozen Neva is one of St Petersburg's inhabitants'
favorite places for Sunday's walk. In the background, Vassilievski Island
and the Strelka (the tip) with, from left to right, the Kounstkamera (St
Petersburg's first museum, founded in 1718), the Marine Museum and the
Rostral Columns. The Narychkine bastion and the Peter and Paul Fortress.
