Battle of the Somme: The town of Albert and the Basilica of Notre Dame des Brébieres. Affected 15 January 1915 by several shells, the statue of "Mary the Infant Jesus" that overcomes the building tilts horizontally. A legend born from this "Leaning Virgin" which predicts that "the war will end when the Virgin fall."
