Discovered on the site of Alexandria’s new library, the “Dog Mosaic” was incredibly well restored six months ago. Made with tiles of remarkable quality (some are only several millimeters thick), it is in all the exhibits of Alexandria in the world. Ptolemaic era, second century BC.
